Understanding the meaning of Agoureleo Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Agoureleo means Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced from the very first unripe olives.

This local olive variety produces a high-quality extra virgin olive oil with very low acidity and excellent organoleptic characteristics. It is very rich in polyphenols, which reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Harvested during the second half of October, it produces an exceptional early olive oil (Agoureleo), made exclusively from unripe green olives, harvested and pressed daily at low temperatures. It is worth noting that twice as many unripe olives are needed to produce just one liter of oil.

This Agoureleo olive oil is packaged unfiltered, preserving the freshness and peppery taste of the green olive. It should be eaten raw to fully appreciate its unique character.
